The Law Office of Steven L. Duckett, Jr., P.C. was founded in 2001. The goal of the firm is to provide high quality legal representation coupled with the attentiveness and aggressiveness that is required for a successful outcome of all cases.

It is important to set a fair value on legal services. As such, most cases are billed on a flat fee basis and not an hourly rate. We do this because it is very important that you know the entire cost of your legal matters up front.

In some cases billing on an hourly basis is required. In that circumstance, we do our best to estimate the time it may take to complete the matter so you can make the most informed decision possible.

The firm's founding attorney, Steven L. Duckett, Jr., was born and raised in Northern Virginia. He graduated from Paul VI High School in Fairfax (1990), University of Richmond (1994), and Valparaiso University School of Law (1997).

He has been engaged in the private practice of law since 1997. He has vast experience in criminal, traffic, juvenile, and appellate cases. He is admitted to practice in all courts of Virginia, including federal courts, the Court of Appeals, and the Virginia Supreme Court.
